Batu Feringgi

My dad and I spent our weekend in Penang because we just got here on Tuesday. Thus, we decided to book a resort in Batu Feringgi for a day. It has two rooms with toilet each, living room, kitchen and balcony. We got off after Asr and it took about 20 mins to reach there. At first, dad registered our entrance in the office and took the keys plus WiFi password ;)

First view after stairs from car park. It's raining anyway while we're otw. That's why that picture looked dim a bit.

Front door~

Living room n my daddy a.k.a. 'Encik'. It's not that spacious but the sofas are super comfy. The windows are wide and bright. We can see spectacular view from the living room.

Kitchen. Fully furnished but not so for electrical equipment such as toaster, rice cooker and yea that's all i can think right now.

View from the balcony. imagine the breeze after rain. Refreshing! <3 p="">

Right: my room with 2 single beds
Left: master bedroom (king-sized)

My room.

My dad's.

Should be my room is the master bedroom because for sure I'm not being selfish or overtaking my daddy, I need my own space and private toilet. I really really don't know to feel guilty or not about what I'm gonna tell right now. Sigh. It reminds me about our future rooms organisation in Shah Alam's house are totally, messed up. Currently, i really hope that i wouldn't get involved at all. It pissed me off that us 'girls' won't have any toilets but abang ngah, who didn't consider our opinions at all, gets two rooms that has a toilet which is located between both of them. Whereas now my sister and I have to run to our parents room to go to the toilet ugh.. Really?!

I took these photo by my dad's phone. It's pretty windy and cold. I've never had been to any beach when it's cloudy or drizzling. We walked through the side beach until maghrib. Seeing such magnificent view created by Allah is such an amazing bless. Not all of us have sight yet they are grateful to Him. SubhanAllah.

Our humble dinner. Maggi is a good choice to those who are lazy to cook like me. eh wait. I don't even know how to slice onions, how am I even deserved to get that title.

Two unfilled glasses. My dad's and mine. If I'm not mistaken, we watched a football match after news.

Then, I was so busy updating and exploring apps (since there's free WiFi *grinning*). I watched some splendid videos about history, colleges and many more. those were from Khan Academy which is one of the coolest apps I've ever had. Really. I must recommend this apps to you guys!

That night, I slept early. Sleeping early means would be waking up early. As we all know, sleeping in a freezing cold room makes us uncomfortable. I woke up with tears and catch a flu. The next day, we had our breakfast at Teluk Bahang. So near to escape. hehe made me reminisce those moments with Aqilah.

Special roti jala. It's crispy and tastalicious. Oh with a glass of milk tea.

Another version of carbs.

This roti canai, is, unique. Can you see that it's actually has two layers. The outer part looks crispy while the inner part looks chewy. Well, the taste was marvellous. 5 stars. Haven't found any better.

Last but not least. My lunch. My so called economy rice.

Before going back home, we had another 'jalan-jalan cari makan' to a medan selera near the resort. The side dishes were only fried spinach and fish balls. Oh I took some soup that had carrots for my vitamin A.

Alhamdulillah for a great weekend. Miss ibu.

The Exposed w Izumi

Izumi, my first Japanese friend from British Council.

We became closer after I saw her walking to her car in Marina Bay. It means we're living in the same roof! Since then we always go to class together and sometimes hang out to the nearest mall either in Paragon or Gurney Plaza. Unfortunately, she only took classes of the first set in this year. For a catch up session, we went for a movie after lunch today.

My sizzling kuey teow 😋

The movie was a bit boooring. Nevertheless, the ending was okay and the flow of the story was quite complicated. Some of the parts weren't explained at all. My rate: 5/10

In the car park. Surpriseee! Izumi gave me a pack of ramen with chicken flavor. She knew that I'm particular about halalness. She picked the japanese ramen that has halal logo. What a lovely friend whom worth to keep ❤️

Looking forward to have another catch up sesh which is on the next early weekday maybe Monday or Tuesday?

Speaking Workshop

We had a speaking workshop that day. So, I followed my dad to his office and refreshed my homeworks while waiting for the class to start. The teacher was the one who sat in the middle. I don't remember or.. even asked his name! 🙊

The class alhamdulillah, very very interesting and helpful. It's about job prospect. We had to explain which qualities we should have and what kind of activity we would be involved in the field or career that we chose by a short presentation to our group. Well, overall mine was quite confident rather than how i used to be. The comments given by that teacher to me were: great approach and optimised hand gestures.

After class, we had our lunch at Gems near to wa cafe at Little India's street. I wanted nasi campur for lunch but Roy and others invited us to have lunch together. Therefore, Sal, Weena and I joined them at the very last minute because they said that the foods provided were halal and even showed to us the certificate. I'm still not sure that it was a good or bad thing. The environment was so cultural and religiously for hindus. I had mixed feelings until now.. Anyway alhamdulillah there's variety of naan and each of them tasted uniquely different.

I am really happy to meet them eventho we just met about one month only. Truly blessed. Alhamdulillah 😌
